Hot off the presses...

...or at least Photoshop. I've added a couple of new items to keep you feeling, and looking cool in the SL heat.

First up is Threads, a snazzy new line of button T's with flair. Comfy yet sporty, goes perfect with a pair of jeans or khakis when a plain T just won't do. Comes in tucked and untucked versions and, initially in 5 colors.
Next up are my new silk boxers. While I really designed them for men, my partner in crime Kat got hold of some. She promptly IM'ed some of her friends and had an impromptu pajama party right then and there. So I guess they work as unisex, who knew?

Comes in 7 sexy colors plus the big kiss.

Now I went and done it...

Welcome to the very first post for my blog, and store, common thread. It's a little intimidating to be perfectly honest. I mean who am I? Well I do have a few things going for me. I've been "rezzed" in Second Life since '05 and been designing cloths on and off for 2 of them So I do have some experience especially in the mom and pop, street level fashion scene. But something inside me wanted more, to take that next step up the ladder. To push the boundaries and see how far my talent and hard work can take me.

Deciding on a name was an interesting experience. Together with Kat my partner in crime, soul mate and all around sex kitten we brainstormed. We tried different ideas and it wasn't really working. Finally she asked "Well what do enjoy making or wearing?" It caught me a little off guard but I thought about it a few seconds and said "Let's see, those jeans I was wearing at Axle's bachelor party...the bandanna top I made you for cowboy night at Raging Waters..." and then it hit me. All the cloths that came to mind all had a common thread running through them. They were all casual enough for everyday, well made, yet still stylish enough to wear out. And something else occured to me. All of the clothing I remembered, that stuck out to me in a way, did so because of a memory in my life it jogged. With the clothing not as the star, but as part of the story, MY story. From there the style, the theme, the name..."common thread"...came easily. We really do want our clothing to become a part of your story.
